Rodrigo Freitas is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, seasoned competitor, and founder of Inspirit Jiu Jitsu. Originally from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Rodrigo began training in 1997 and earned his black belt under the legendary Master Aldo "Caveirinha" Januário in 2007. After moving to the U.S. to help expand Gracie Barra, Rodrigo went on to build his own academy in 2015. Today, he leads Inspirit Jiu Jitsu in Redondo Beach, focusing on world-class training, strong community, and a family-first culture on and off the mats.
